I'm a couple or 3 years late on this but it's worth posting, I guess. In December 2020, a TikToker demonstrated a duck call and challenged others to try and do it better. It started a hilarious trend of TikTokers blowing duck calls in creative ways, imitating ducks with their voices, turning the duck call into a rock song, and other things I'm sure the starter didn't have in mind.
Though I have no desire to hunt ducks or learn to use a duck call correctly, I do have one that I use as a noisemaker. I have it stuck into the small end of a traffic cone, which amplifies it and gives it a deeper tone. From a distance away I think it sounds like an angry animal of some sort. I know it works pretty well to scare away stray dogs, feral hogs, would-be thieves, poachers and night hunters.
