The Trinidad and Tobago Manufactures Association has expressed no objection to the increase in the minimum wage set to take effect on January 1st.
And the Finance Minister said he was glad to get that kind of feedback from the business community since the Government had to be careful in implementing the measure.
Meanwhile, one economist is suggesting another goal should be pursued where the minimum wage is concerned.
