Shortly after Chris Benoit won the Royal Rumble, he called his shot to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship by appearing on RAW. But because both Triple H and Shawn Michaels didn't answer the 10 count in their Last Man Standing Match, Michaels took offense to Benoit's challenge. During a contract signing to seal the deal, Michaels hits the Sweet Chin Music to Benoit and signs his name on the dotted line. A furious Benoit approaches Eric Bischoff and demands a match with Shawn Michaels for revenge. Bischoff grants his wish and thus the match is set.
