MTHL is a six-lane, 22-km Bridge, which is touted as the 'longest sea bridge in India'. It will reduce the travel distance between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to 15-20 minutes. The current travel time is close to 3 hours in peak traffic. About 90 per cent of the civil work on the project has been completed. Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link (MTHL) bridge will be opened in November 2023
