A Chinese Long March 3B rocket was launched the Shiyan-10 02 satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on Dec. 29, 2022.
The satellite "will be used for in-orbit verification of new technologies, including space environment monitoring," according to China Central Television. The English translation of Shiyan is "experiment."
