12,213 fresh Covid cases in India in highest daily surge since late Feb

India has registered 12,213 new cases in the last 24 hours, 38.4 per cent higher than yesterday. It brings the total caseload to 4,32,57,730. According to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, India's active caseload stands at 58,215.
