The Trade Minister says this country's non-energy manufacturing export sector earned $11 billion an increase of 46 percent from 2020.
But she says the Government wants that sector to earn even more.
Paula Gopee-Scoon was speaking at the launch on Thursday of a new manufacturing apprenticeship programme as the Prime Minister said another is being planned.
