There is a picnic spot near Ranjitpur village in Fakirhat Upazila of Bagerhat centered on a building called Chandra mahal. This is actually a nice art pattern. Chandra mahal built in the style of the Taj Mahal. Selim Huda, the founder of Chandramahal in 2002, built the eco-park on about 30 acres of land named after his wife Nasima Huda Chandra. Any tourist will be fascinated by the beauty of Chandra mahal. Especially when the bright sunlight shines on the golden part of the upper part of the palace, it looks like the palace is made of precious metals. The palace is surrounded by water. A paved road has been taken from under the water to reach the palace. As soon as you go in the middle of the road, you will see big fish on the opposite side of the thick glass. The idea of the locals is that millions of people come to see the Sundarbans in the winter season. Due to the location of Chandra Mahal on the way to the Sundarbans, a large number of visitors to the Sundarbans come to see Chandra Mahal. That is why Chandramahal is a bit more touristy than other parks.
পর্যটকদের জন্য এখানে নির্মান করা হয়েছে নানান প্রস্তর শিল্প, মৃত্তিকা শিল্প, বাশ ও বেত শিল্পের মানুষ ও প্রাণীর মূর্তি। মাটি দ্বারা নির্মিত হয়েছে পল্লী সংস্কৃতির নানান স্মৃতিকথা, গ্রামীণ নারীর জীবনযাত্রার বিমূর্ত ছবি ফুটে উঠেছে এ শিল্পে। জেলে, কৃষক, ধোপা ইত্যাকার নানান পেশাজীবী গ্রামীণ মানুষের মধ্যযুগের জীবনযাত্রা কেমন ছিল তার ধারনা দিতেই নির্মিত হয়েছে এ মাটির শিল্প। এখানে রয়েছে পানির উপর বাঁশের তৈরি কুটির ও রেস্তরা, ছোট ছোট দিঘীগুলোতে রয়েছে মাছ চাষ, পুকুরের মধ্যে ইট-সিমেন্টের তৈরি কাকড়া ও ঝিনুক, পানসী নৌকা, ১৯৭১ সালের রাজাকারের জন্য কৃত্তিম ফাঁসির মঞ্চ, ডাইনোসরের মূর্তি, কৃত্তিম রেল লাইন, বাঘ-ঘোড়া-হরিণের মূর্তি। পর্যটকদের জন্য রয়েছে পিকনিক স্পট। একটি কাঠের তৈরি বড় ঘর ও তার পাশে রয়েছে রান্নার সকল ব্যাবস্থা। দর্শণার্থীরা নিজেদের মত করে যাতে পিকনিক করতে পারে সে বিবেচনা করেই এ ব্যাবস্থা রাখা হয়েছে। ইকোপার্কের প্রায় সর্বত্রই ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে রয়েছে নানান প্রকারের সবজি চাষ, প্রচুর ফলজ বৃক্ষও রোপন করা হয়েছে। রয়েছে বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির আম চাষ। পার্কের চারধারে লাগানো হয়েছে অসংখ্য নারিকেল গাছ। আর এই বিভিন্ন প্রকারের গাছ ও সবজি চাষই ইকোপার্কের মধ্যে প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ তৈরি করে দিয়েছে।
