Four elected representatives from the Malacca state assembly today announced their decision to withdraw support for Malacca Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali and claimed the current state government had collapsed.
The matter was announced in a press conference led by Sungai Undang state assemblyperson Idris Haron, himself a former chief minister, who like Sulaiman is from Umno.
Also present at the press conference were Pantai Kundur assemblyperson Nor Azman Hassan, Pengkalan Batu assemblyperson Norhizam Hassan Baktee, and Telok Mas assemblyperson Noor Effandi Ahmad.
