President Uhuru Kenyatta has been urged to be lenient on expectant mothers’ unborn babies while pardoning convicts. The plea pushed forward by the power of mercy advisory committee that received a similar recommendation from other 17 counties to re-look into the welfare of reformed expectant mothers in prisons. Others whom the committee was looking at were long-term prisoners who have showed a permanent change in their behaviors while in prison.
