After Dark was already well established at the leader in Screen Saving, back when the visuals on a CRT monitor needed to keep moving to avoid permanent burn-in damage.
Version 4 from 1996 saw this package take another step forward in complexity with enhanced sound, more complicated scenes, and some pre-rendered sprites.
YesterYear’s Mac Games takes a look at what this package contained, from Hula Twins to a very bad dog, across a busy townscape to the iconic Flying Toasters. All included screen savers are present.
After Dark 4 will run on era appropriate (90s) Windows and Macintosh computers, and is a joy to experience even today.
