There is a battle brewing between the LFP (Governing body in charge of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2) and the current broadcasting rights holders MediaPro.
It is being reported that the LFP have formally demanded MediaPro to pay €172m in unpaid rights money. According to reports, the payments, which should have been made on October 1st and October 5th, were both missed.
