細久手宿は大湫宿と御嵩宿の間が４里半と長かったことから、慶長１５年（１６１０）に新しく開かれた山間の小さな宿場です。町並みに当時の面影は少ないが尾州家定本陣であった大黒屋の建物が当時の宿場の雰囲気を感じさせてくれます。

Hosukute-juku is a small mountain lodge newly opened in 1610, since the distance between ookutejyuku and Mitake-juku was 4 and a half. The Oguroya building, which used to be the mainstay of the Bishu family, makes us feel the atmosphere of a post town at the time, although there is not much of a townscape at the time.
