The Central Industrial Security Force, or 'CISF', is now taking steps towards making the Central Government a commercial force. A special proposal has been prepared for this. 1.2 lakh recruitments will be made on a contract basis for the first time in CISF. The current strength of the force will be increased from 1.80 lakh to three lakh. Under the new restructuring policy, the CISF will now have a 3: 2 formula. That is, there will be three permanent service personnel and two contract soldiers in the force. Appointment will be for five years on contract basis.
केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल यानी 'सीआईएसएफ' को अब केंद्र सरकार कॉमर्शियल फोर्स बनाने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ा रही है। केंद्र सरकार ने इसके लिए एक खास योजना तैयार की है. इस योजना के तहत सीआईएसएफ में पहली बार कॉन्ट्रैक्ट के आधार पर 1 लाख 20 हजार जवानों की भर्तियां की जाएंगी। केंद्र सरकार ने बल की मौजूदा संख्या 1.80 लाख को बढ़ाकर तीन लाख करने का फैसला किया है.
