How to Download and Install Skype on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?
Step 1: Open your Firefox browser, and then go to the link below:-
https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/
Step 2: Download the Skype Deb package.
Step 3: Go to the desktop, right click on it. After that, click on 'open terminal'.
Step 4: Go to the folder where you downloaded the skype deb package.
Step 5: Type the commnd beow to install it:-
sudo dpkg -i name_of_file.deb
After that, hit enter. Provide password, if it asks, and then hit enter.
Step 6: After installation, close the terminal. Click on 'show applications' at the bottom left. Do a search for 'skype'. click on it to open it.
