Despite the overwhelming support of both Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) failed to garner more than three votes out of more than 400, or 0.7%, in today’s vote for House Speaker of the 114th Congress.
Only one other member of the Texas caucus, Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX), voted for Gohmert. Another vote came from Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK). Gohmert’s third and final vote came from one Congressman Louie Gohmert:
