Actor Dhanush has been asked to appear before a Madras high court on February 28th in connection with a case filed by a couple who claimed that he was their son.
A man named Kathiresan claims to be Dhanush's father. Dhanush has to be present in court to verify his personal identification marks. In his counter, Kathiresan submitted that there was a possibility of disfiguring of the identification marks of Dhanush, and simply filing it through an affidavit will not prove the petitioner's case. He also claimed that the birth certificate filed by Dhanush was not genuine, and his name and the registration number were not mentioned in it. In the school transfer certificate, it was mentioned that Dhanush belonged to Scheduled Caste. The man also alleged that the family card has been manipulated and tampered with.
In January this year, Dhanush moved the high court quashing of the trial case in a lower court wherein the couple Kathiresan and Meenakshi had claimed to be his real parents and sought a monthly maintenance of Rs 65,000.
Something similar happened to superstar Shah Rukh Khan when a lady from Aurangabad claimed that she was his mother.
Well, we really hope Dhanush gets out of this issue soon.
