Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that when he makes a promise, he keeps the promise even though some people think the tenure is too short.
He said the matter was not raised during a recent meeting with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and that he ( Dr Mahathir) will not be the Prime Minister until the next elections come.
