Business Insider reports that the British Army has reportedly been put on standby to deliver food, medicines, and fuel in case of shortages if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
The Sunday Times reported the military would be called in to assist civilian authorities if they ran out of such supplies. Helicopters and army trucks are being used to shuttle aid to people around the country.
The contingency plans were all made in case Britain left the EU next March with no deal.
