In this episode, good friend of the program Jeff Eisenberg stops by to discuss two topics. First, we chat about the Final Four, and start with Gonzaga. Jeff wrote an awesome story over at Yahoo Sports about the road Gonzaga has taken over the last 30 years to get to this Final Four, and we talk about that as well as some other interesting nuggets about the Zags. Second, we chat about Oregon, and about just how they have gotten to this point.
In the second half of the show, Jeff and I discuss how we'll be voting for Player of the Year this campaign. Jeff has a Wooden Award vote, and I have a Naismith vote, so you can hear how two voters basically went about making their decisions in terms of their vote for player of the year. We also chat briefly about coach of the year, and what factors go into voting the best coach in all of college basketball, an admittedly ridiculous and futile exercise for writers to undertake.
