A fat cat has gone on to lose a third of his body weight after tipping the scales at a whopping 22lbs - the same weight as a BEAGLE. Tabby Oliver was forced shed more than 6Ibs before he could have ear surgery - after vets discovered he was twice the size of the average cat. He was forced to go on a strict regime of regular exercise and low-calorie food while he shed the required weight. Chubby Oliver was originally brought into the RSPCA after suffering from health issues and his elderly owner could not meet his needs.
