A battle between Kiev forces and militia of the self-proclaimed Dontetsk People's Republic (DNR/DPR) continued on Monday, leaving the town of Uglegorsk devastated and strewn with broken armoured vehicles.
Meanwhile, DPR captured the strategic village of Nikishino, Monday, and were seen driving through the settlement in T-72 battle tanks. The Ukrainian Army abandoned numerous vehicles and supplies after being forced to retreat from the site.
