There’s a famous college, a girl’s college (called), All Saint’s College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where a railway gate which was indispensable for the students to cross over to the college got closed due to non-payment of funds due to non-availability of funds and Dr. Shashi Tharoor was able to intercede with the railways to get it opened.
