Clashes erupted between Venezuelan police and protesters in Caracas, Thursday, as tens of opposition protesters attempted to storm the headquarters of the public television network Venezolana de Television, in light of a general strike against President Nicolas Maduro. Demonstrators set several security installations ablaze, while police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
