The European Union's naval mission, launched in response to the migrant crisis, has failed, according to a UK House of Lords report. Critics say the search and rescue activity of operation 'Sophia' acts as a magnet to migrants and aids people traffickers. The chairman of the EU External Affairs Sub-Committee at the House of Lords admitted the failure of the mission.
