The EU has announced more funding for Italy, which is struggling to handle the surging wave of migrants coming from Africa. However, Italy, along with the United Nations, are calling for other European states to share the responsibility of housing the refugees. That's as more and more migrants are landing in Italy. In the last few days alone, some 12 thousand newcomers have arrived on its shores.
