A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched on Wednesday from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying a communication satellite for parts of the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa.
The launch was initially planned for Monday but was rescheduled due to poor weather. SpaceX says it will not be trying to land the first-stage booster because the satellite is too heavy and there will not be enough fuel left to fly the booster back to Earth.
