Drone footage released on Tuesday shows the ruins of Kinsabba after the town was retaken by Syrian government forces and allied Shia militia last week. The town in north-eastern Latakia province had previously been held by the Jaish Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) group. The humanitarian crisis in Syria has deepened in recent weeks following advances by forces loyal to Damascus, that are backed by Russian air strikes, into rebel-held areas of the country. The UN has called for renewed peace talks and a ceasefire to allow for humanitarian relief to the worst-affected areas.
