Syrian Arab Army (SAA) forces re-commenced their offensive against opposition fighters in strategic positions in East Aleppo, Sunday, just hours after a three-day-long ceasefire had come to an end. SAA soldiers were seen firing heavy machine guns and moving into position in the Babdin area of northeastern Aleppo, where heavy fighting had taken place just prior to the truce.
