44 killed, 103 injured in horrifying train collision near Tehran

Passenger train crashed into another parked at Haftkhan station around 250km east of Iranian capital Tehran.
Rescue operations completed, but an investigation into the cause of the incident continue. Initial results suggest that one train had to park due cold weather leading to mechanical failure.
Senior vice-president Eshagh Janahgiri assigned to be the leader of the investigation.
