U.S. troops have been spotted on the move in Syria, near the Turkish border - amid escalating tensions between Washington's partners in the region. U.S. armoured vehicles and a convoy of Kurdish militia - known as the YPG, or the people's protection units - were seen moving into a town in the north of the country.
