Fighting between pro-government forces and opposition militants continued to dog the streets of Aleppo as mediators attempted to patch together a fragile ceasefire, withdraw fighters and civilians from the city’s east.
Pro-government forces recaptured 98 % of eastern Aleppo, while anti-government forces reportedly maintained positions in the city’s Salaheddine, Al-Ansari Mashhad, and Zebediah districts.
