Democrat Jon Ossoff faces runoff in Ga. House race

Jon Ossoff, a Democratic candidate in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, will face Republican Karen Handel in a June 20 runoff, after winning the most votes in the April 18 special election but failing to reach the 50 percent threshold.
