A huge forest fire forced the evacuation of Dichato's residents. Out of some 130 active reported fires, 50 are under control, while firefighters continue to fight 66 others with the assistance of aircraft, with both Russia and the US among other countries offering planes. The wildfires have affected more than 4,000 people, covering an area of almost 375,000 hectares.
