The Russian Navy has launched its first Project 885-M Yasen M-class multipurpose attack nuclear-powered submarine (SSGN), christened Kazan, at the Sevmash shipyards in Severodvinsk, a port city on Russia’s White Sea in Arkhangelsk Oblast.
