According to advertisements, the singing group comprised of 3 brothers of Italian/Irish descent, and that they were "the archetypical everyman's traveling singing group." They reportedly often travelled on the heels of more popular and coherent traveling groups of the era, traveling and traveling, picking up opening act positions and getting by on soda bread scraps and left over liquors and liqueurs.
