The bridge across Kannukali stream in Vellayani lake of Thiruvananthapuram is quite famous as it was built for the super hit Mohanlal movie Kireedam 27 years ago. Even today, people come to see the bridge as the location played a major part in the
movie. After Kireedam, many other Malayalam films were shot there but it continues to be remembered and known as Kireedam
bridge.
