HOW CELL INK. The article published in Nature Biotechnology explains that the printer uses, such as "ink", a solution of cells in suspension in a water-based gel (hydrogel). The tissues and organs, produced from a mold in synthetic biodegradable material, are composed of a pattern of thin channels through which water, oxygen and nutrients can reach the cells retained in the gel. As the cells colonize the "implants" biodegradable, it dissolves and disappears completely.
