Elgato touted their Instant Gameview feature quite confidently when the Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro was announced, a pcie capture card that could instantly display the live feed in real time through the software, negating the need for a passthrough display.
But the technology isn't as perfect as promised, there is still a very slight delay, not enough to matter, mind, but still enough to become a problem in twitch shooters.
I'm testing the instant gameview feature with the newest capture card released by Elgato, the Game Capture HD60 S, which features almost all of the features of the Pro, but in a much more convenient external solution, unlike the pcie Pro.
