ADNAN OKTAR: If the PKK was dealt a blow on all fronts, their terrorist agenda would lose all its meaning. In other words, the PKK should be dealt a morale blow. To be able to do so, the government should utilize TRT [the national public broadcaster of Turkey] and newspapers. But they do not do this. Instead, they only report news that is to the detriment of the Turkish nation. Such as “there are so-and-so number of martyrs,” “they bombed here,” “they destroyed there.” We do not see any news reporting about the losses the PKK sustained or neutralization of PKK militants. For example, we do not hear any news saying "Such-and-such PKK militants have been arrested." But when some ordinary poor fellow commits a theft, they broadcast many pictures of him. Previously, there has been a huge protest following the arrest of KCK members. All KCK members should be arrested as retaliation. The government has information about every PKK member; who they are, where they live. They should all be arrested. Being a PKK member should be considered a crime. Some people make being a PKK militant look like an honor. This is wrong.
All the main roads should be completely illuminated. The other sidetracks should be traveled by mine-proof vehicles. Planting a mine is obviously not an easy task. It takes at least an hour. How can they not detect a roadside activity that takes an hour? These areas should be illuminated just like every other place. Surveillance systems should be installed; security alarm systems should be installed all along these roads. This way, no one will be able to come near these areas. For example, if the terrorists were to try to dismantle a camera, it could be easily detected. Or hidden cameras can be installed instead. For example, these can be installed among the rocks or inside the trunks of trees so the terrorists won't be able to notice them. Electronic equipments can be installed all along these roads. On top of this, all their activities should be retaliated hundredfold. That would be really discouraging. If a hundred PKK militants were arrested for every single person they hurt, this problem would be solved.
For example, when government officials, the prime minister or the other ministers pass through these roads, they do not encounter any problems. This means that it is not so hard to take the necessary precautions. It shows that these roads can be effectively monitored when needed. Likewise, these roads have to be monitored thoroughly on a daily basis on behalf of our soldiers. To put it another way, these roads should be known like the back of one's hand. Additionally, concrete, heavily defended guard houses can be established along these roads. For example, there can be concrete, bullet-proof army emplacements in order to ensure the safety of these roads. These can be equipped with heavy weapons. Fixed automatic weapons can be used instead of hand-held ones; in other words, stationary automatic weapons placed within these guard posts. This way, soldiers can open fire without exposing themselves. These weapons can discourage terrorists from coming nowhere near these roads again.
GOKALP BARLAN: Israel uses this method. Their borders are defended by automatic weapons which eliminate the need for the physical presence of the army. Using remote surveillance systems, they can detect even the slightest movement and open fire, just as you mentioned, Master.
ADNAN OKTAR: Indeed. This is a good way to discourage their enemies. There are many intimidating methods that can be utilized. Conventional methods alone are not always effective.
