Do not ever let someone tell you dogs are poor problem solvers. You will find no shortage of videos on The Internet of dogs hilariously figuring out obstacles like this bulldog facing off against a river. In an epic battle of wits, this bulldog seems outmatched by the river despite said river having a clear path across by way of a log bridge.
Now, it’s at this point that I imagine the bulldog is acting exactly how I would if I came across a cricky bridge 250 feet above a raging river tearing through a canyon, like something straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. If I had no choice but to cross, I would take the absolute safest way across by falling to my stomach and crawling across. The bulldog does that…kind of. Just make sure you wait until the end.
