Luke 8v22-25:- Our life is like a boat that tumbles but no more when Christ is in. He is our Bridegroom.
Holy Gospel of Jesus, anointed Christ according to Saint Luke 8,22-25.
One day he got into a boat with his Labourers and not the once-born spiritually blind disciples of the Rabbis. Now, our lives are like boats in the turmoil of rough sea and in this Dark Age, you suffer injustices, killing and other atrocities as the Temple Priests, Popes, Mullahs, etc. create from time to time. But when our Bridegroom Christ Jesus is in our hearts, then you over power them with great ease and win over death.
And he said to them, ‘Let us go across to the other side of the lake or cross this turmoil of life.’ So they put out, and while they were sailing he fell asleep. Our Bride Groom never falls asleep but rest as in his company, you too enjoy the Rest. A gale swept down on the lake, and the boat was filling with water, and they were in danger. Extreme example of suffering as the Apostles suffered at the hands of Temple Priests in Jerusalem. They, who were ignorant of Christ Power like the once-born Peter went to him and woke him up, shouting, This must be the Peter‘ Master, Master, we are perishing!’ Only Peter used to address Jesus as Lord and Master whilst the others addressed Him as Friends. Judas Iscariot, the Mammon loving thief, must have told Peter that we are in danger of sinking. And he woke up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they ceased, and there was a calm. Jesus came from our Supernatural Father God and so, He has Authority over subservient Nature. He said to them, ‘Where is your faith in your own Bridegroom Christ Jesus?’ So, it was a test and an encouragement to be of high spirit even under the hammers of injustices. They were afraid and amazed, and said to one another, ‘Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?’ Here Christ Jesus showed to his doubting Labourers the Power of our Supernatural Father over Nature. He made the dead alive, put life into the 12 sparrows of clay, opened the eyes of the spiritually blinded Disciples of the Rabbis, etc.
