Co-founded by Prince Haruna Momoh, alongside other key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry, the Gas to Health Initiative (GTHI) has gained support from names like Techno Oil Ltd, Oando, Ultimate Gas Ltd, AZ Petroleum, Aiteo Oil Company, Borkir International Gas Company, Access Bank Plc, Adrose Gas Nigeria Ltd and Master Energy Oil and Gas Ltd. One of the organisation’s objectives is to improve the health of the Nigerian populace by substituting traditional fuels like firewood and kerosene with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It is also working to ensure that LPG is affordable for all and that the market is competitive. Additionally, the NGO works with producers and transportation companies to make this a safe industry for both the consumers and workers.
