Rajouri, Mar 13 (ANI): The women in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district who could not complete their education are being trained to empower themselves by the handicrafts department under the Central Government's Skill Development and Training Programme. The handicrafts department has 23 employment centers in various areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Naseem Akhter, a trainee at the center, shared that she could not continue her education due to her financial condition. She further said she is now learning stitching and embroidery work in the center. In-charge of Fatehpur employment center, Angrez Akhter said that the women she has trained have opened their own centers at different places, supporting their family and inspiring other women.
