The artifact was unearthed at Must Farm, a site that's commonly referred to as "Peterborough's Pompeii," due to its archaeological significance.
Made of wood and around three feet in diameter, the wheel was preserved by silt--and even its hub is still intact.
Chief Executive of Historic England, Duncan Wilson, said, “This remarkable but fragile wooden wheel is the earliest complete e
