The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, is meeting with the head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, in Havana, Cuba.
The historic meeting is taking place in a room at Jose Marti International airport and is expected to last at least two hours. It is the first such meeting between the two churches since the severing of relations almost 1,000 years ago.
