The fifth major entry in the highly popular FPS series, developed since 2002 by the EA DICE studio (previously Digital Illusions) under the banner of Electronic Arts. After a spin-off - Battlefield Hardline - focused on clashes between criminals and law enforcers, Battlefield 5 returns to military themes typical for the series. The gameplay itself remains unchanged; once again, we receive a short single player campaign, with popular multiplayer modes constituting the core of the game. The title employs the latest generation of the Frostbite engine and, as the first entry in the series designed strictly for the current generation of gaming platforms, offers significantly improved audiovisuals.
