Shefi i EULEX-it e Kosovës, Xavier Bout De Marnhac, ka dënuar incidentin ne Mitrovice ndaj përkthyesit serb te këtij misioni.
Gjate një takimi ne Tirane me ministrin e Jashtëm Edmond Haxhinasto, zyrtari i larte tha se dhuna nuk është ajo çka duhet për të zgjidhur ngërçin, duke shtuar se një opsion i tillë, vetëm sa do e tensiononte me tej situatën. "Për incidentin unë mendoj se dhuna nuk është opsion. Problemi mund te zgjidhet vetëm nëpërmjet dialogut," u shpreh De Marnhac. Te njëjtin qëndrim ka mbajtur dhe ministri i Jashtëm, Edmond Haxhinasto, "Dënoj aktin terrorist sot ne mëngjes. Nuk është rruga e duhur për te stabilizuar situatën," u shpreh Haxhinasto. Por duket se qëllimi kryesor i vizitës në Tiranë i De Marnhac, është nisja e hetimeve për pretendimet e hedhura në raportin e Dick Marty për trafik organesh gjate luftës në Kosove, ku përfshihet edhe Shqipëria. Shefi i EULEX shtoi se hetimi do te nise brenda pak javësh, ndërsa Haxhinasto garantoi mbështetje për te zbardhur siç u shpreh ai te vërtetën që do te hedhë poshtë akuzat e pabaza mbi Shqipërinë. "Ne kemi formuar një ekip qe posaçëm qe do te merret me hetimet për këtë raport. Kryeprokurori i këtij ekipi do te vizitoje ne një te ardhme te afërt Shqipërinë. Mendoj se është ne te mire te gjithë rajonit te mësohet e vërteta," ka thënë De Marnhac.
