ARARAT-717 and BSM Research Associates are involved in extensive expeditionary and imaging work with respect to Noah's Ark and Mt. Ararat, surveying the summit and photographing the critical (and dangerous) NE face of the strato-volcano, particularly above the Ahora Gorge. Of maximum importance are the Ark's primary coordinates at 39° 42' 33.07” N / 44° 18' 1.26” E (obtained 18 May 2013, initially released on YouTube 21 May 2013). Analysis of the accumulated images for the 1972 Anderson-Cummings, 1989 Simmons-Arslan, 2013 Google Earth (GE) / Digital Globe (DG); and 2011-2015 Amirkhanian expeditions, focused on the GE-DG coordinates established at 15,530 feet elevation. Clearly evident in the resultant imagery and field investigations. are indications of a large barge-like structure, positioned on a massive imbricate fault, the Ark being two thirds encased in the glacial ice. Damaged (perforated) areas (partially petrified, internal multiple decks) confirm that this is the Ark of Noah which has survived through glacial preservation for nearly five thousand years.
Certainly from an archaeological perspective, commensurate with increasing global temperatures, it is critical to establish international concurrence as to the required approach for reclamation and preservation of Noah's Ark. The altitude of the ship's position [15,532 feet / (4.7 km)], insures that the effort will be physically arduous, economically challenging; yet critical to the heritage of the world.
