The renewed escalation of tensions and the spiral of violence and killings of Palestinians by Israeli security forces in both the occupied territories as well as the Gaza Strip is now in its 12th day and shows no signs of abetting. The outrage of Palestinians has moved from stone-throwing to attacks on Israeli settlers. Many consider this the start of the Third Intifada, or people's uprising.
